Well now... We do learn from our mistakes now don't we? LOL I was making another Chocolate cake last night for the Birthday of a co-worker and I didn't have enough Heavy Whipping Cream. I needed 1 1/2 cups but only had 1/2 cup. So I substituted the rest with half and half. Evidently NOT the same thing!! LOL My icing is much much creamier and more difficult to pipe. I made do but in my opinion it doesn't appear as good as the first one I did. I even added a lot of powdered sugar to it to thicken it. So now the color is way off too. Oh well!!! icon_smile.gif
Anyone have any advice as to what I could have done differently?

Thanks,

Heavy cream has waaaaay more fat than half and half. You in effect added too much water to your frosting.

LOL Thanks! I figured it had to be something like that... I'll never do that again. However, it was still good.
