i did the last minute cake for my neighbor- thanks to everyone for the ideas. it's in my photos with the pink roses. i can't figure out how to post it within the forum i charged $20. what does anyone think of the price- i'm in the midwest. it's just one layer each- i didn't have time to torte and fill- i was lucky it cooled in time to frost!!! thanks

I love the roses on that cake...very beautiful! I think you could have at least charged $35-40 for that. $20 is way underpriced for a cake that nice

I definitely think you didn't charge enough! You make absolutely beautiful roses, and your cake is very pretty. Just your time to bake and decorate would be worth $20, and the roses probably worth that too, so I agree that $35 or $40 would have been more realistic. Janice
