The Joseph Lambeth Method? If that's what you're talking about Toba Garrett has a small section about it in her book The Well Decorated Cake. Other than that I haven't seen too much on it in other books but I know there's a class for it at the Wilton School in Darien. HTH.

Some of these books on ebay Australia seem to have some of the methods you're after. They are all usually very old as these methods are only used in competition, very rarely do they get requested for wedding cakes.
