Question for you all...

I wanted to try the BC Dream recipe, but I found I did not have any SALTED butter. icon_eek.gif I found after a quick googling that salted butter has about 1/4 to 3/4 tsp salt per stick.

So...I used one sitck unsalted butter plus 1/2 tsp salt (average of the high-low amounts listed above) as a substitute for the stick of salted butter. I tastes GREAT! icon_biggrin.gif

However, I have not made the recipe as posted int eh recipe section...has anyone done both who can comment?

I've done it both ways and it tastes the same. I actually prefer to add the salt because I normally just keep unsalted butter in my house and for baking because I have better control over the recipes that way.
