Dear CC list,

I have baked a chocolate cake using the classic chocolate layer cake recipe from Oprah Winfrey website icon_biggrin.gif . It turned out very compact and dense icon_cry.gif , but tasty icon_surprised.gif . However, I still would like to frost it. As the cake is so dense and heavy, BC would probably not a good idea. Any suggestions ?

Don't know if this helps or not but I just saw a pretty dense chocolate cake the other day and they just put a whipped cream in between the layers, along with fresh raspberries...topped it off with a light sprinkling of powdered sugar. It looked so yummy and refreshing!
