sorry but i dont know why since i move to orlando from ny icon_biggrin.gif my cake wont rise really it does but when i take it out boom down! icon_cry.gif and the botton looks so concentrate like a pudding or something help! it is too much eggs or sugar? cause i tried more less baking powder and it is the same or it is my oven ! it is not new i m renting so? help!?????

The first thing that comes to my mind is to get an oven thermometer, and check the temperature of your oven to be sure it is baking properly. Janice

sounds to me like the cake just isn't done cooking. So first check the oven temp.

Next would be to attack your recipe.

I agree with both posters--you can get an oven thermometer for about $5--a VERY worthwhile investment. That way you'll know if your oven is off and if so, by how much.
