Hey all! I've been working on pricing my cookie bouquets and this is what I came up with:

3 cookies $15
5 cookies $25
7 cookies $35
9 cookies $45

I am not the best cookie decorator in the world but they look nice and I always get compliments on the taste. Now in thinking about this I've been trying to figure out how to streamline the process. I don't want to have to do a ton of work for a $15 sale. So, what about cutting out shapes and freezing them in advance? Then when I get an order I can just defrost and bake. I also should get my supplies wholesale to lower my cost but am concerned about storing cases of stuff.

How do you all streamline the process here? Cookies are time consuming between making the dough, rolling, cutting, etc, etc, etc...and we haven't started decorating yet. Are my prices too low?

My competition for these is Cookies By Design. Their cookies are larger and thicker than mine. They get good business. I'm won't price as high as they do. I'm trying to figure what else I can do to set myself apart. Sorry this is so long, I appreciate any help I can get. icon_smile.gif

How big are your cookies usually?

Can you share some pictures? We all love looking at pictures!!! icon_smile.gif

I have a CBD near me and also another cookie decorator, but we have totally different styles. My mom got a big CBD basket when she retired 2 weeks ago. I asked how the cookies were. Mom and dad said they looked good, but they were hard as a rock and didn't taste that great. What's the point of a cookie looking good if it doesn't taste good??? Mine may not look that great either, but they do taste yummy and they are not hard as a rock!
