I Just Got The Nicest Compliment.....

okay so I have to brag...but you all will understand.....I made a cake for someone at work. The party givers wanted it to be all festive and very much a "birthday" cake, if that makes sense. So I made a two layer butter cake with strawberry/ buttercream filling and buttercream icing. Put some flowers, etc. nothing too elaborate since I didn't have much time. Didn't think too much about it--today I heard the birthday guy said it was the best cake he'd ever tasted!! WOW!! I'm still smiling...
sometimes I get so concerned about the decorating, I forget the impact of the taste of the cake as well!! Guess I got this one right for a change............
It's always nice when someone compliments your final cake, but for me, it's even better if they comment on the taste of the inner cake itself.
Congrats! Happy dance!
I think cakes are a lot like people. It's what's inside that counts. But there's something to be said for good looking too!
Gotta love those warm and fuzzies!
That is always my first question when I talk to a client, were they happy with the actual cake? Never mind the packaging, it it doesn't taste good as well, then what's the point?
Good for you!
How wonderful! I'm so happy for you !
It sure feels good to be appreciated for the work that means so much to you.
I say BASK IN IT! You earned it!
