I took the Wilton course 3 and am interested in the fondant gumpaste class I see they are now offereing. I bought some Wilton gumpaste and made a shoe.

I don't see and difference in the fondant and gumpaste as far as texture of the products or managabiltiy, so....what's the difference in the two?

Thanks...

Gumpasted dries faster and when doing flowers it can be rolled much thinner. Also it dries much harder than fondant which makes it better for larger 3D type modeling.
