Double Postings! Help!

It looks as though every time I post a response in the forum, it goes in twice. Any idea what is causing this? It looks weird, plus is taking up space and time, etc., and I'd like to stop it if I can. Thanks, Janice

I find sometimes it does it to me too....and I have noticed that if you hit the edit button, it will bring you to a screen like this and underneath the box you see disable html and such..I have seen the "delete this post" if you hit that it will delete it, but other times I dont see it, so all you can do is erase all you typed in one of the double posts and put deleted by you or add something else.... I think it has something to do with the other people reading it...if it has been viewed or read then you cant delete it only modify it....

It's happened to me also - and I was not able to delete the 2nd post when I tried even though I clicked on the delete/edit post - it would not let me delete.

It's usually something that happened over the internet or by the server. The moderators and Jackie will usually delete these for you since we have that capability. It's no biggie to us. We always make sure that it is a duplicate post before deleting anything.

LOL! I read one about five times before deleting the duplicate (I better make sure--- well, let me check again.... gee... once more to make really sure). We are very careful not to delete haphazardly.
