I was just in Target, in the dollar section, and found 8" and 4" heart pans for 1$ each. Also, cute heart ice-cube trays. Just thought I would let you all know. icon_smile.gif

Side note: I bought a couple of months ago the baby dishes in the dollar section. They looked great, but the finish started coming off the first time they went thru the dishwasher. icon_sad.gif

I would put a very GOOD layer of crisco on those heart pans when you use them.

The dollar section of Target sure does rock! You just never know what you may find there. I got the valentine heart cookie cutters from there also, and at x-mas time a 4 pack of cutters!!! Yay Target!

last january i bought a wilton dimension heart cake pans at target for, i think, $10. best i can tell, it's only made for target, had target packaging and down in the corner, said made by wilton. i have been online and have never found that pan anywhere else. then in the spring, they had one that was a sunflower, packaged the same way, in a target package, but made by wilton. i guess they do special stuff just for target, since i've never seen that one anywhere else either.

I got some cake pans and cupcake pans from Target a couple years ago as a wedding or shower gift and they were all made by Wilton as well, but they were all their crappy nonstick stuff. I've never had a wilton nonstick pan that I liked!

I will look for the heart pans for $1 though, even if they last just for this holiday you can't beat it!

I was in love with Target back in the day they were only on the west coast. Since then, I felt their quality was going downhill, so I really haven't been shopping there. I think I'll have to check Target out again! I feel like I'm missing out!

OK I went last night and couldn't find that area, completely forgetting about that area in the front! Guess where I am going AGAIN today after work? I swear it's my 2nd home! icon_lol.gif

I love the dollar section. At Christmas I picked up the cookie cutters they had and I just picked up the heart cake pans but they only had one size. The funny thing is if you look on ebay right now people are selling the pans for $4-5 dollars what a joke as soon as I saw them I knew they were the target ones.

I recall hearing once that Wilton has some sort of deal with Target that they will sometimes try a new product in Target before it is available elsewhere. That may be why some of the Wilton products were only found there.

Well I went tonight to one Target and they only had one 8 inch one left so I got that one and figured I would check one more Target on my way home. They had tons of the 8 inch ones so I grab a few more. I didn't see any of the smaller ones so I was bummed... but I will check the one by my boyfriend's house this weekend. icon_smile.gif
