Hi everyone,

I need an idea for a surfboard cake. It's for a baby shower, and that's the theme they're doing. I googled and searched all my bookmarked websites and have only found two pictures. Right now I'm leaning toward just carving a surfboard out of a 12x18 and going from there. I was hoping some of the creative minds on here could help me out. It needs to feed around 40 people. Thanks for the help.

If it were me... I'd bake 2 cakes, then wedge the top cake (think like the topsy turvy cakes, but even more!) so you could cover it in blue icing and make it look like a giant wave... make a fondant surfboard & a cute baby sitting very zen-like on the board...
