I was going to post this question in this forum first but placed it in another . I am hoping a sugar creater can help me with this. Sorry for the duplication if you have read the question before. I have a question.

I am wondering if anyone has made sun glasses or eye glasses out of gum paste before? If so did you use a pattern? or where could I find a pattern with out buying a real pair and destroy them. I am needing to make them to add to my cookie bouquets that are 50's theme.

Thanks!

I would just use a cookie cutter or make a paper pattern and trace it with the legs attached, then bend them sideways when you sit it up, sitting it on something it can dry against to hold the legs up. Does that make sense?? It's kind of early here, so I'm not awake. icon_smile.gif

Thank you Sugarnut, it makes perfect sense. I was debating with myself about the legs and how to attach them without the adhesive sugar showing. Never thought about the pattern as a whole. *duhh on my part*

I will be working on it in the next day or two. Thank you sooo much.
