Hey you all. I know this sounds really silly, but I wanted to know how to store frozen BC roses? I just finished a big batch (I was practicing again). I have them in the freezer on a cookie sheet for now. But I also have 3 kids who I can just see smashing them when they go into the freezer icon_mad.gif . I was wondering if there was another way to store them. Thanks in advance for all help!!
Happy Baking!!

I know my aunt would make them ahead, put them in a freezer type container, and put them in her deep freezer away from where the family gets into. If you dont have a separate freezer you could freeze them the same way just in a 'hard' container. I know our refridgerators over here are really really small....I can barely fit 4 loaves of bread, some bagged corn, some meat and a thing or two in it before its too full...so I would understand it if you didnt have room for it. But I think that would be the best way......

I place a piece of saran wrap in my plastic container and then place the roses in the container and cover gently with saran wrap. Plastic containers by themselves do not always seal very well and may make your flowers taste funny. The saran wrap will just help protect them from frostbite and funny smells that they can pick up in a freezer.

Thanks, Flayv and sgirvan! I will try both ways. I did ship my deep freezer chest over here, Flayv, just for this such thing. And I think that the saran wrap will likely do the trick, sgirvan. Thanks for everything guys. Sorry it took so long to get back on, but I was at work all day!! Ugh!!
