All I got was my kitchenaid, an icecream maker attachment for it, a meat grinder attachment for it, and my bday is next week and I am supposed to go buy another attachment for it, wrap it, and put it from my hubby and then open it....since hubby left today for 4 months! Not sure what I will do really...but HEY I am very happy for you~

I had a special christmas last year. I have always toyed with the cake decorating thing.....my sister's best friend (Bev) passed away last fall. They were going through her things and came across her cake decorating tools. My sister remembered that I loved to decorate, and for my gift from her last year, she took all of Bev's decorating things and wrapped the whole thing up for me, the tote she used and all. When I opened the gift, I could obviously tell that it was a used tote, but I thanked my sister (thinking ok....she must really be short on cash this year!) She told me to open the tote and look inside......there was every tool imaginable in there for decorating....I looked at her, and she said "these all belonged to Bev - I knew you would take them and use them and think of her when you do". That is one of the reasons I have gotten really serious about this now - to show Bev and my sister that I truely apprecaite the gift from them, and how honored I am to have them given to me.

The old year books are so much fun! You got a really great gift!!

"Santa" brought me a bunch of old yearbooks to complete my collection for Christmas as well! It cost me a fortune, but i now have a copy of every yearbook from 1985 through 2006!!! What would I do w/out Ebay??

Quadcrew -- that is an awesome story! How thoughtful! Thanks for sharing!!

Flayvurdfun -- Sounds like you had quite the holiday as well! And hey, how awesome that you can get your own birthday gift!! Happy Early birthday -- I hope your DH returns soon!!
