I have not one creative bone in my body. I steal my ideas from books, web and best source CC. My daughters dance team has 15 girls age 15-18 (HS) The name is Silver Starz. I don't have a star pan and I would use MMF and paint with silver dust, but the girls really like my BC icing So... here I am with no idea.
All suggestions---THANK YOU

Make a sheet cake & put "dance shoes" made out of MMF? painted with silver dust on BC frosting. Pipe (or MMF?) stars scattered around shoes on rest of cake. [I've never used MMF before.]
OR

You could skip the shoe idea altogether & just do silver stars all over the BC iced cake.

OR

Cut out star shape from sheet cake(s) & decorate the way you wanted.

OR

Cupcakes decorated with "silver stars"

Thank you! I like all your ideas. I like the silver stars all over the cake plan. Sounds easy. Not that I'm going to go lazy with it, but my 15 year olds exact words were, "we could care less what it is, or how it looks, as long as it has frosting on it." Plus it's a free one at a busy time of the year.
Is there a way to make silver BC?

Another thought...you could write each girl's name on her "own" star.
