Mouse it is a very nice avatar!! It looks like a chinchilla (spelled wrong) to me. Maybe their considered mice too, LOL!! I love the way it is eating the cake!! So sweet as long as it's an avatar & not the real thing.. I'm scared of mice too But would never be scared of you Mouse... your tooo sweet!!!

I love them both! I think little mice are so cute, as long as they aren't running free in my house. (Even then, they're kind of cute, just destructive little buggers!)

Hehe- I like mice too, and snakes and most insects. What I would really like is to have the eyes blink on my old one. But I have no idea how to do that yet, Oh well.

Aw, I'm not skeerd of anything, at a safe distance. But it pays to be leary of a flock of Canadian geese flying overhead. You never know..... I have no idea where or how you get the neat little avitars. I'm just using my grandaughter Madison's glamour shot pic for mine. You new mouse does have the tail of something nicer than the common mouse Mouse. I like it.

The mouse on the white background with the piece of cake in between his butt and the end of the tail is 2 pieces of microsoft clipcart that I made smaller and then copied and pasted into paint.
The mouse that is standing on his hind feet is from Lisa.

Thanks Lisa, got home and was finally able to get onto the site. He looks cute and a little goofy with those blinking eyes. I will have to save him as well and use him when I need a change.

The avatars are usually ones I find on the web and edit. Sometimes they're perfect just the way they are--mine is straight from the web...no editing.


To use UnFreez, you need to have/make individual gif frames that can then be combined to make an animated gif. It's a lot like a cartoon. The blinking eyes mouse is two frames. One with eyes open, one with eyes shut.

If you want to edit an animated gif you find, open it using gifworks and split it into frames. Save each frame. Each frame can then be edited using an image editing program. After you edit, save each as a gif and drop them into UnFreez. You'll want it to loop and you can play around with the frame delay until you get what you want.

After I've finished making a gif this way, I take it back to gifworks to resize. Resizing can be done by just reducing the size, cropping or reducing the color.

Ladycake if you want your name to blink, take your avatar and a blank image the same size. Drop them into UnFreez and loop them with a frame delay of about 50 or less. Don't forget to make sure the images are in gif format.
