Okay, I would like opinions please. Everyone keeps telling me I need to come up with a "business name" so I can make up some cards. LOL... I don't like the idea of calling it "Tiffany's Cakes" cause I do more than cakes and I kind of want to leave my name out of it, I want it to be different.....so this is what a friend of mine and I came up with:

Sweet Epiphany or Epiphany Sweets

LOL....she said Epiphany since that is where my name originated....and it means a sudden bright idea. icon_smile.gif So...whenever I'm doing cakes or cookies or whatever it always starts out with a plan then SUDDENLY!! OH, lets try this..etc etc.... lol.. so what do you guys think? Does it sound lame? Or too hard?? LOL....

I actually like it, but I am kinda running into the same thing with my southern suzie's sweets, long and a tongue twister.... so I can't give advice on that as I am in the process of changing my name too.....

You could do something like Sweet Oops, but then people would wonder if you messed up a lot huh? I like Epiphany Sweets or Dreamt it Sweets.

I don't think either sounds BAD, but will the general public "get it" that you sell cake/cookies/etc.?

I kind of ended up with my company name Sauer Cakes by default. Things kind of took off quickly so I didn't think I had time to come up with something sugary sounding. The irony of it all is that my last name is Sauer (pronounced like sauerkraut) and cakes are not sour they are sweet...get it? Sauer Cakes....ha ha ha! So, I ended up with something "different" in the end anyway.

I say all of that because I think sometimes we labor so long on the fine points that we overthink it. I don't think having an "ordinary" name with "Cake" in the title has hurt me any...I think it has helped. It is easy to remember. And once they know you do cake...they'll know you do cookies (you could even put it on your business card):
Specializing in sugary confections like cake, cookies, etc.
