I really like the idea behind the CCC's but I was wondering how you got the top to look like a cake? Considering that the cupcakes are round they dont go together nicely. Do you put fondant over it? Thanks for your help!

Hi there, You basically get the cupcakes together as close as possible (honeycomb style) and then ice with the large icing tip and smooth it out and then do your decorations. Heres a tutorial that was really helpful to me:
