I have a bad habit of not measuring, I either have way too much icing or not enough. I making a cake to feed 125. it's a 16 inch (I think) two layers, I found that I will need 15 cup of batter per layer, but how much icing will I need?
Thanks

If you go to the Wilton site, under Cake Preparation, Batter Amounts, choose Wedding Cakes whatever depth your pan is. The chart will tell you approximately how many cups of icing you need to ice this size of cake.

Heehee, you are welcome, I would have gone there and posted the amount but I couldn't get into the Wilton site at the time.
