I'm watching the sales and don't know much about digital. But if I do break down and buy one, I'll finally be able to post pictures!! Some of your pictures are so clear..what camera do you recommend.
I use anything Olympis... I have used other cameras and most digitals are clear... Just make sure that you have checked all the features and stuff... Some cameras have a still or landscape feature try those out the first couple of times... But usually you can just get your picture in the screen and click and it will come out...
HOpe that helps.

I have an Olympus digital . I got it a few years ago and they are making even better ones now and cheaper. I love mine. It takes great pictures.
I don't have pictures posted here because my scanner or computer or both are not cooperating, but I take photos of all my cakes and have them in a photo album to show potential customers.
I have a Kodak 7630. I love it!! I just got it in March and now I don't see myself without it!
Totally agree Cindy even if you don't post here you have to have pictures and print them put them in protective sheets or go to an art store and get a portfolio book those are greats... It cost alittle bit more but it's nice and if you have the opportunity to do this... Get the little large Portfolio book and get your photos enlarge at your local kinko's or office max... They do great enlargements and larger picture are nice for customers to look at...

I have a Canon Powershot A95 which is totally wasted on me, haha, a disposable would have been more my speed because I don't fully utilize it.

Olympus E-20 N. Digital SLR. Way smarter than me. LOL! Also have an obsolete point an shoot Olympus. Don't get hung up on a brand. There are many, many good digital cameras out there. I wouldn't buy one that didn't have a removeable memory card/stick. Also....make sure you have a preview screen on the camera back. Most do now. Fuji, Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Olympus.....all have a fairly wide range of prices. I'd feel safe buying any of these brands' cameras who's original price was in the $250 range.

LOL Ma.. Too funny but yes it's so true. There are a lot of people that have cameras and dont use them the their fullest capability.
I have an easy share Kodak with dock. I take the camera point and shoot, it has a memory card and a display in the back.
then I place it on the dock that's attached to my computer and press a button and the built in softwear takes care of pulling the photos out of the camer and into my computer.
It arranges all the photos for me by date in a folder marked KODAK for easy access.
It even has a rechargeable battery so every time the camera sits on it's dock, it recharges the battery for me.
All I have to do is REMEMBER to take it with me...lol
Kodak good. Pentax Good. My son has that Kodak PD....I love it. He takes it snowboarding with him and gets fabulous pics!
I have an hp digital camera...however, I purchased another camera from Target(not digital) that I like so much more. I paid only about 50.00 for it. When I use that one I just get my photos developed with a picture CD. This could be an option for you until you decide which digital you want to get.
I use a Canon PS A75, 3.2 mp, can't remember the zoom power. I do like it; however, it's been repaired twice now as I think I bought a lemon! Our son bought a Canon PS S2IS with 5 mp and 12x zoom...I've borrowed it and just love it! So many things it can do....! Puts my little 3.2 to shame!
Friends of ours bought a Fuji digital, 3 mp and it takes wonderful pictures also, so it comes down to personal choice.
Yes, some of us an old Brownie Camera would be enough high tech for, like me, haha!
