would the image then be recessed into the cookie? how would you decorate these?!?? I would like to get them for the High Holy Day coming up in a few weeks but I don't know what to do with them!!

thanks

from the looks of it, they would result in the image being recessed into the cookie. I've used similar ones from wilton that press the cookie down and the design ends up being raised. I didn't decorate these cookies with icing or anything, only used them on shortbread.
If you were to use icing on cookies after you've used these you could use a TINY TINY tip and fill in the design with royal...

These really aren't made for decorating....... some people color the dough, or use colored sprinkles, but that is about it....... REALLY neat designs though !!

Thanks

I'll have to look at them again and see if they are something I would really use

Alternately, you could bake some NFSC and make fondant for the tops of them, using the stamps on the fondant...
just a suggestion if you really like the stamps - they are really nice!

you can also use them for impressing fondant on top of cookies.

or you could dip them in thinned colored icing or piping gel for the same effects of a real stamper on paper where the gel/icing would be the "ink"

Thanks for posting that website.

My daughter's good friend and former college roomate was a member of the Trinity Irish Dancers here. I saw the dance cutters and might just have to get one and surprise her with a cookie, if I can do it justice!
