Can I use the wilton paste colors for this? Do I knead small amounts until I reach the desired color? I am wanting to tint the MMF, instead of buying the wilton fondant already colored.
Thanks
Kim

..you are exactly right! You can just put a little color on a toothpick and dab it on the fondant and then work it in..add more color if necessary!!

I did mine with liquid colors while the MMf was still slightly warm. you will need to wear gloves to do this as it can get messy and make sure to spray your cloves with vegtable spary so you don't stick

Wear gloves, or if you are like me and they just get in the way, you can coat your hands with a little bit of crisco. It'll keep the color from touching your skin and will just wash off. icon_smile.gif

wear gloves, or put crisco on your hands...and then just knead it until it's incorporated...or for a marbles effect, leave it sort of...unincorporated

..I tend not to wear the rubber gloves because some people (namely my mom) have a reaction to the laytex. I just use a little crisco instead.
