Can i tint my MMF the same way i would tint Rolfondant?

This is my first try at MMF and wanted to make snowman's to put on my x-mas cakes. black hat ect ect.

Would it mold the same as the rolfondant.

When I tint my MMF, I do it when I melt the marshmallows in the microwave. I blend in my color at that time because it's easier to do. The downfall of this is, you have to tint the entire batch ... I just wrap mine really well in saran, then in foil and then I put that in a plastic ziplock bag ... it will keep for a good while like this .. if it's a little hard, you can microwave it for about 30 seconds or so and it'll soften right up... I have many bags of MMF in a lot of colors that I have left over from cakes I've done... I always find a use for it and it saves me from mixing more icon_smile.gif good luck and post pics of your cake for us to see!!!

I colored mine the same way as I did the reg. fondant.

After I mix the color in and knead it a bit, I stretch it to see if any white is still showing. If I still see some white, I knead it again until all the white is gone.

Hope this helps you and good luck.
