Hi,

Just seen something called "silicone moulds' in a local baking shop and was wondering if anyone has used this before and if so, what do you think of them.
Would you recommend them?

Regards
Shamani

For molds i think they are great! They are easy to just pop the fondant or chocolate out. icon_biggrin.gif

indeed, food-grade silicone moulds are for making fondant or chocolate or candy decorative pieces (and also for making candles, soap, etc.) check out:

there are also silicone bakeware pieces, which are sometimes referred to as silicone moulds, which are designed for baking in. and of course the silicone baking mats are universally loved by bakers and candy-makers.
