I have recently used Toba Garrett's icing on valentine cookies and I loved it. Does anyone know if this can used on a crusting buttercream to fill in a design? This might sound like a silly question, but since I am pretty much self taught, I have these questions. And everyone has been such a great help on this site.
yes, you can, but just be careful with it as you'll be able to "see through" it if it's a light color. If you look at my photos, the "paw print" cake uses the glace for the paw prints, and on the soccer cupcake cake the soccer ball is made with the glace.
I appreciate the advice. And you did that right on top of the buttercream? What did you do the outline with if I may ask.
There is a recent picture in the gallery, it's a Mickey Mouse sheet cake. It looks fabulous, and I believe the poster said she used it.
Here's the picture.

Please share recipe. I've been searching for it and just can't seem to find it.
