I was wondering if anyone could please give me instructions or suggestions on how to use this pan (insert???)? I bought it thinking it was to make a checker board but when I looked at the inside of the rings they don't have separators in there so I was thinking I could use it to fill 3 different batters but do I just lift the ring after putting the batter in or how do I use it? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hopefully this will help you....it is the checkboard pan you have you pour different batters into each of the (3) rings.....outside ring white, middle choc and inside white again then lift the dividing ring out....

then the next pan ouside ring choc, middle whit and inside choc then lift the ring out.....

then the third pan repeat the same as the first!!! Bake and stack and you will have a checkerboard cake!!

Hope that helps....

Cool! thumbs_up.gif That's what I was hoping it was but wasn't sure how it worked. Thanks so much. I bought this at a thrift store each round pan was .60 and the core was .40 so I got this set for a grand total of $2.20 I am so happy I have been wanting to get this for a while now. I'm going to make a cake tonight. icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks again

This cake is super easy to make, and people are amazed when they cut into it. I have made it several times, and always get compliments.
