I am new to the site and was hoping to find someone in my area that might want to get together on occasion. I live in Dover, PA which is right outside of York. I have only decorated one cake (for my girls birthday) and had a lot of fun doing it and would like to get better at it. I just found this site a few days ago and I loooovvvveeee it. I love looking at the pictures of other cakes and seeing different levels of skills involved with each one. I have learned so much from this site already.

As I said in a previous post:

Get ready for aching fingers (from typing), burning eyes (from reading) and the cravings that come from addiction. This site is hazardous to getting any thing else that you need done -- done!!! But we all love it and won't give it up for anything!!! Well, almost nothing.

Hi! I live in Pennsylvania, too, but unfortunately nowhere near Dover. I'm about 40 miles outside of Pittsburgh. Years ago, my ex and I lived in Kennett Square, which is closer to your neck of the woods. Welcome to the forum!

holy moly this site works fasy ... I put up my post ... went and vacuumed and when I came back I already had 6 responses!!!!!

You actually left the computer to go do something else? Good luck! that won't be happening too much after you're on this site a few more times Lord knows my life came to hault after I joined cake central. Welcome to our addiction hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
