I'm in a bind!

I have some cookies to make for tomorrow that are supposed to be Redskins colors. I am trying to make burgandy... and failing miserably!

I have the Wilton burgandy - and I used a LOT of it - but it's still not very dark and rather "hot pink." Any thoughts as to what I can do? There aren't any cake stores very close to me, so I can't get the Americolors in time....

thanks in advance!

First, don't panic... leave your icing (covered) for an hour or two... it should be much darker (the colour can take a while to develop!) Stir it up and take another look!

Next, add some red & blue (more red than blue) and a small spot of black.

If that's too purple, add some brown next.
