I apologize if my terminology is all wrong...I'm supposed to make a two level square wedding cake that has a glass/acrylic/plastic column separating the two levels. My problem is that I am having a hard time finding that column anywhere. It's in the British magazine "Wedding Cakes" on page 27, the one by "Celebration Cakes by Sonia". Does anyone know where I can get one of them? Or anything similar? Thanks for your help!

Lots of places to get this type of "tube". They are generally components of the Crystal Splendor line of cake stands. You can buy parts at:

http://www.countrykitchensa.com/catalog/mini.aspx?T=1&SubCatId=1166

I also believe that sugarcraft.com, winbeckler.com, and on Ebay in the store of Simply Sweet Supplies (5 inch) has them.

Hope this helps.

As always, thank you, thank you. I've been to that Design-a-Cake website before, I guess I just couldn't find what I was looking for! Thanks so much!
