My name is Natalia Leelavetchabutr. I have been married for almost 7 years to a gorgeous Thai man (he's to blame for the long surname :) ) We don't have any children. I have been living in Melbourne, Australia since 1985. My family moved here from Uruguay, in South America. I wanted to become a chef when I finished high school but I never did. Many years after working odd jobs, I ended up at university where I completed a Computer Science degree (and met my husband). I now work full time as a software developer for a bank (cakes are more fun though!). I make cakes during my spare time after work and on weekends. I run my cake business from home, and so far it works well. I did my first decorating course when I was 21 (probably the equivalent of the Wilton I course in the US) just so I could make cakes for my family. A couple of years ago I completed a sugar flowers course, I learnt about the existence of gumpaste, and I became hooked. I LOVE GUMPASTE, ok, not the tastiest thing in the world, but it's so great to work with. I had no idea of the things that could be done with it and even less that I could do them. I would love to one day travel to the USA and do some courses there. Top of the list are Roland Winbeckler and Ron-Ben Israel. Im addicted to CC. My husband doesn't really understand why I spend so much time there. Well it's fun and we all share a common interest. I like to spend my spare time baking (surprise surprise!!!) or with my three chooks (Paul[10], Mya[3] and JJ[1] - my sister's kids) That's all about me :) Cheers |
