My name is Connie, and I have been doing cakes now for 3 years. Iam a self taught decorator, learning by lots of trial and errors. I opened Heavenly Delight Cakes,having never iced a cake before. I purchased supplies and equipment from a closing cake business. My husband built a small commercial cake kitchen in our home.

I have been very blessed, I began the process of teachng myself to decorate thru books, videos and wonderful online cake boards like Cake Central. After the first year Heavenly Delight Cakes was establishing itself as a sucessful cake business. In Novenmber I hired an assistant Tana, who is an amazing cake artist. Together we have big plans for the business. Last year, I won first place in the wilton 2006 Decorate to Celebrate Contest, cake division

I am very thankful for cake boards like Cake Central, without the help of many wonderful decorators, I would not be here today. I can only hope to share what I have learned with others to help them in their love of cake decorating.
