Yummy mocha filling that goes so good with a chocolate cake or a vanilla. It’s very tasty.

Chocolate mocha filling


  • 1/2 cup butter-softened
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 3 1/2 -4 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 4 T. chocolate mocha ice java syrup by Nescafe


    Cream together butter and shortening until smooth. Add cocoa, powdered sugar and syrup. Mix until incorporated. If it is to stiff you can add some milk to it. The mocha syrup has a very strong coffee flavor so add a little at a time.

Hi is there any other syrup that you would suggest I can't seem to find the nescafé kind? Oh and also does this recipe have to be refrigerated right away or can it sit out for a while.... Thanks :)

I'm not the author, but with the amount of sugar in this recipe, this filling should be fine at room temp.
