Raspberry cake with a warm sauce

This is a family favorite- its so yummy- its yellow cake with frozen raspberries baked into it with a yummy sauce- serve it warm- it tastes the best!!

Raspberry cake with a warm sauce

Ingredients

  • One box of yellow cake mix-
  • 1 bag frozen Raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 stick butter
  • tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. You mix cake mix- as instructed on box- then fold in frozen raspberries- dont mix too much( bang the bag around a little before dumping them into the cake mix)
  2. Then bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 min or until cake is done- cool cake- right before you are serving the cake- make the sauce
  3. You put the stick of butter, sugar, and water into a saucepan- heat until boil- add cornstarch into a little bit of water in a cup- add slowly to butter mixture- whisk in until it starts getting thicker- when it is as thick as you like- take off of heat- add vanilla- serve over cake! Yummy!
