Very light frosting. Good enough to eat without the cake.

Dreamy Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 small package instant pudding mix (flavor of your choice.)
  • 1/4 cup confectionary sugar
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 8 ounce container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix pudding mix, sugar and milk on slow til thick. Fold in cool whip. Refrigerate til nice and thick. (not very long)
  2. Frost 13X9 or 2 layer cake.

I made this frosting for a birthday cake and it was a really great frosting, BUT, it had some sort of a chemical reaction to the marshmallow fondant and pretty much "melted" the fondant. Good frosting, just not good to mix with MMF.

I have not tried this, but it sounds more like a frosting for an ice cream cake. I think I will be giving it a try in the very near future... maybe even this weekend.
