These cookie slices are better when they are not dark brom they need to be barely browm. Or else they will be rock hard! I hope you enjoy these they got a 1st place ribbon in a county fair! I took this recipe from a Taste of Home book and improved it!
White and Chocolate Chip Cookie Slices
1 package sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup flour
1/2 butter melted
(some water if too thick)
2/3 cups chocolate chips
2/3 cups white chocolate chips ( or any other kind of chips)
In big bowl mix all but chips. Then add chips when well blended. Divide dough in half put on ungreased cookie sheets make each log 10 inches long and 2 1/2 inches rectangles. Take them out when the top is barely brown tinted. Let cool and cut in strips as wide as you want.
