Snickerdoodle Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 1 package white cake mix
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 stick of butter (melted)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Frosting
- 1 stick of butter (softened)
- 3-3/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspon vanilla extract
- 3-4 tablespoons of milk
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line cupcake tin.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl add cake mix, melted butter, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon.
- 3. Mix for 3 minures ( stop to scrap sides once).
- 4. Pour into cupcake and bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- 5. Allow to cool for 20 minutes.
- 6. Blend butter until creamy, then add confectioners sugar in intervals, add milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
- 7. Frost and sprinkle to tops of the cupcakes with a sugar and cinnamon mixer. (optional)

im assuming that the cup of whole milk goes in the cake mix recipe. it dosent say in the instructions.
i made these and they were so good. i did have an issue with the frosting melting. it was fine after i made it but as they sat for a while the frosting started to melt off the cupcakes... any suggestions? i had to put them in the fridge and then they dried out so fast.
WOW! So easy to make and absolutely delicious!! I added a tsp of butter flavoring to the frosting and it was YUMMY! Had to share with my neighbors so I wouldn't eat them all by myself!! To Ashley_ryann....maybe less milk in the frosting will help. Also the only milk I had on hand was skim and they turned out delicious!
