Rita’s Cherry Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound fresh butter
  • 8oz creem cheese
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • maraschino cherries drained and floured

Instructions

    pre heat oven to 350 degrees

  1. cream butter and cream cheese together
  2. gradually add sugar, add eggs one at a time, slowly add flour
  3. add vanilla and cherries.
  4. Bake in 10 inch buttered and floured tube pan.
  5. For best results use electric mixer.
