Wonderful strawberry filling

Strawberry Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries frozen
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. In a heave bottomed saucepan combine all of the above ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and boiling. Remove from heat and let cool before using.
  2. If you use fresh strawberries double the amout of sugar
