What is the consistnecy of this icing? What ingredient makes it firm up to ice a cake?
can you pleas tell me what "lecithin" is and where to find it, also "fructose" I need to make a vegan cake for a customer and this would really help.
I tried this, even though there are no directions. A complete waste of time and money.
I found this one online, and it was FANTASTIC: - 1/2 C shortening - 1/2 C soy butter (Earth Balance) - 3 1/2 C powdered sugar - 1 1/2 tsp vanilla - 1/4 C soy milk (or rice milk)
Cream shortening and 'butter', then add sugar. Beat for a couple minutes, then add soy milk and vanilla. Beat for another 7-8 minutes until fluffy. Adjust consistency by either adding more soy milk or powdered sugar.
