This frosting is very easy to make, spreads great onto cakes and works well for borders and some simple decorations. Has a soft, delicious taste. Can also be used as a filling.
Quick whipped frosting
- *4 oz. regular cream cheese (room temperature)
- *2 tbsp granulated sugar
- *8 oz regular Cool Whip or other Whipped Topping, thawed in refregirator for at least 4 hours
- *1/4 can sweetened condensed milk
- *1 tsp marinque powder
- Using electric mixer, blend well the cream cheese and sugar until evenly smooth. Turn off mixer. Add Cool Whip, sweetened condensed milk, and marinque powder before turnig the mixer back on. Whip on med. speed for 1 -2 minutes, scraping the sides and the bottom of the bowl very often. The frosting will be nice and thick. Use right away, do not rebeat because it will become too soft or runny. If you need to add color, do so when first whipping.
