1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup molasses
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional
ConfectionersÃ¢â¬â¢ sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350ÃÂºF and prepare an 8Ãâ8-inch baking dish with baking spray.
Bring butter and molasses to a boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add brown sugar, whisking to cool the mixture.
Whisk in egg until fluffy.
