Orange Oatmeal Cake Ingredients 1 cup butter, softened1/2 cup packed brown sugar1/2 cup white sugar1 egg1/2 cup orange juice2 teaspoons vanilla extract1 tablespoon orange zest1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour3/4 cup rolled oats1/4 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon ground ginger1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 cup chopped walnuts Instructions 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9×13 inch baking pan. 2 In a large bowl, cream the butter or margarine with the white sugar and the brown sugar. Beat in the egg, then the orange juice, vanilla, and grated orange rind. 3 In another bowl, stir together the flour, oats, salt, ginger, and baking powder.
