2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
2 cups baking mix, such as Bisquick
Combine sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
Begin to heat 1-inch of oil in a frying pan to 350 F.
Working quickly so oil will not overheat, combine remaining ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Pour mixture into piping bag with a large star tip.
When oil has reached temperature, pipe straight lines into the oil, a few at a time.
Fry 30 seconds and flip, fly another 30 seconds.
Remove from oil and place on paper towel.
Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture and serve warm with Spanish Hot Chocolate.
