Filling for Mello Yello Cake
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 (20oz.) crushed pineapple, drained and liquid reserved
- 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained and liquid reserved
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- Mix pineapple juice, sugar, and flour and simmer until thick. Remove from heat and add butter, coconut, pecans, and pineapple. Mix and spread on cake.
