This is a really great way to spice up a plain chocolate cake without icing. Its really simple and super fun to do with the kids.
No bake chocolate mousse
- 2 packages of the chocolate instant pudding
- 2 cups milk ( or half the amount of milk used if you were making regular pudding )
- 1 container of cool whip
- Prepare the pudding as you normally would with the exception of using only half of the milk required, after it is throughly mixed add your cool whip in slowly.
- What I have done in the past is bake a cake in a spring form pan, let it cool and then spoon this mousse over top and refrigerate for 5-6 hours then when your ready to serve all you have to do is take off the sides of the pan and viola! a simple but super good chocolate mousse cake!
