This is a really great way to spice up a plain chocolate cake without icing. Its really simple and super fun to do with the kids.
No bake chocolate mousse
2 packages of the chocolate instant pudding
2 cups milk ( or half the amount of milk used if you were making regular pudding )
1 container of cool whip
Prepare the pudding as you normally would with the exception of using only half of the milk required, after it is throughly mixed add your cool whip in slowly.
What I have done in the past is bake a cake in a spring form pan, let it cool and then spoon this mousse over top and refrigerate for 5-6 hours then when your ready to serve all you have to do is take off the sides of the pan and viola! a simple but super good chocolate mousse cake!
