Powder Milk Roses

This is an extremely easy recipe that you can use instead of fondant or sugarpaste. No measuring necessary.
Advantage: It tastes milky so most of your guests will eat the rose instead of putting it aside.I’ll also post a picture of such a rose.
Disadvantage:It tends to dry quickly so you have to work fast. If it does dry, add more water.
Powder Milk Roses
Ingredients
- Powder milk with sugar added
- Water
- Food coloring
Instructions
- Depending on what you want to do (roses, cover a cake) take an amount of sweet powder milk. Add water and food coloring little at a time and form a dough. If it’s too soft add more powder milk, if it’s too hard add water. Mold it into the desired shape.
- Notes: Wet your hands with water or oil when forming the rose.
- If you use unsweeten powder milk you have to work with two parts powder milk, one part confectioner’s sugar, water and food coloring.
