Rich cream filling

I was trying to come up with a not too sweet filling for the Sour cream almond cake (recipe from CC) and this worked great!

Rich cream filling


  • 1 quart of heavy cream
  • 1 4 serving package of INSTANT vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup fruit filling (like solo or the one in the sleeve) I used raspberry.


  1. I make this on my KA mixer. Pour heavy cream into the bowl and add the dry pudding mix. Beat until it is the consistency of a rich mousse. It will be pretty thick. Fold in the fruit filling until completely incorporated. ENJOY!

I made this filling but substituted the vanilla pudding mix for a Blackberry Fusion jello mix. It is DELICIOUS!! I'm adding some fresh fruit and using it as a filling for a white cake. Yum!
