This is the simplest cupcake recipe that i’ve ever made and it is delish. You may add sourcream to add moisture to it. Enjoy!
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 self rising flour
- 1 1/2 stick butter (3/4 c)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp water
- Cream sugar and butter. Add flour, eggs, vanilla extract and water. Bake for 20 mins or less @ 350 deg.

Hello tried making cupcakes but they have a big peak on top which i wanted to decorate with icing...how can i have a nice flattish top??? Also when you say 1 cup etc...how big is the cup meant to be...sorry to be a pain...x
