Recipe for my butterfly biscuits as requested in comments. Think it is a standard one though – only one I have ever used!
- 200g sugar (or half icing sugar)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 450g plain flour – sifted
- 200g unsalted butter ( Though i always use slightly salted baking margarine)
- Mix sugar, vanilla and egg. Add flour and butter and mix until just comes together. Knead. Wrap in plastic and chill for 2 hours. Cut out and bake. In my oven 160c for 14-15 mins.
